On Wednesday the Bluevale swim team defended their WCSSAA Championship for the third consecutive year with a dominating showing at Wilfrid Laurier University.  When the final waves settled down at the pool, the Knights had won six championship titles:  Jr. Boys, Jr. Girls, Sr. Girls, Overall Boys, Overall Girls, and the Overall Combined Team Championship.  This was the sixth Overall Team Championship in the past 10 years and ninth Overall Boys Championship in the past 10 years for the Knight swimmers.  Individually, Jixai Wang was MVP in the Open Boys category winning four events.  Jixai will lead 17 swimmers who have qualified for CWOSSA. Congratulations to Coaches Henkel, Palmer and Graansma and the incredible 58 swimmers who comprise Team Bluevale.  Once again, congratulations and good luck at CWOSSA in February.
