Graduating student Chromebook/textbook/library drop off

On Wednesday, September 2nd between 10:00 – 12:00 and 1:00 – 3:00 we would like to invite last year’s graduating grade 12 students to drop off any items they may have to return to the school. On this day there will be bins set up outside of the cafeteria to collect 1) Chromebooks 2) Textbooks and 3) Library books. Please make sure all items you are returning are clearly labelled with your name and placed in the appropriate bin. Unfortunately on this date, we are unable to facilitate locker cleanouts for those who did not take this opportunity in June. Lockers will not be used for this semester, but will remain locked. Please stay tuned for future communication about this process.

2020 Grade 9 Chromebook Pick Up 

In an attempt to make sure that our grade 9 students are prepared for learning on September 8th, we would like to provide an optional opportunity for grade 9 students to pick up their chromebooks. On Wednesday, September 2nd we will have appointments available for students and/or their guardian to pick up their device. Please read the documents below outlining our policies and procedures regarding chromebooks. Please also visit this link below to complete your chromebook contract. Students MUST have a completed and signed a contract in order to pick up their chromebooks. Any student who is unable to pick up their chromebook on September 2nd will receive it in class on the first day of their cohorts’ physical attendance.

The location of chromebook distribution will be at the front of the school just out front of the cafeteria doors. Please wear a mask, line up in a socially distanced format and follow signage. We request that you be on time for the appointment time slot you sign up for so that we can limit wait time for families. Please sign up here for an appointment time.

  1. Call the school and press 3 to reach the main office or 4 to reach the guidance office. You will be asked to leave a message. You will not be able to reach a live person until after August 31.
  2. Email the school at bci@wrdsb.ca.
