Volunteer Hour Requirement for Secondary Students

All students require 40 hours of community service in order to earn their OSSD (high school diploma).

Currently, there is no WRDSB centralized system for entry of hours. As a result, we are collecting GRADE 12 HOURS only as a means of meeting the Graduation requirement. There will be a form posted under “Guidance” on the Class of 2025 to enter your hours.

All other grades will continue to track their hours and can use our TRACKING SHEET if they need a resource. Once we have a new system in place, we will have our Grade 9-11 students enter their hours themselves.

Any hours entered into MyWay up to and including June 2022 have been saved and remain in the system.
