On Tuesday, November 9th, BCI will host two virtual sessions for BCI parents/guardians.  

Session 1:  “ Parent/Guardian Guide to Bluevale” is targeted towards parents/guardians of grade 9 and 10 students.  This presentation will include information about the school, introducing key people, and sharing how to navigate high school as a parent/guardian.  This session will run from  7:00 to 7:30 p.mPlease sign up HERE by Friday November 5th at 2:00pm if you are interested in attending.  Closer to the date a link will be sent to you.  

 

The focus of Session 2:  “Supporting Our Students:  School Community Response to Student Well-Being” will be presented by Asnake Dabala and Paula Ferreira, our two social workers.   The focus of this presentation will be on how parents can support student wellbeing.  Some topics covered will include managing student stress, the impact of COVID-19 on our youth, resources parents can access and other helpful information.  This virtual session will run from 7:30 to 8:30 p.mPlease sign up HERE by Friday November 5th at 2:00pm if you are interested in attending.  Closer to the date a link will be sent to you.
