June 22nd, 2021
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to remind you of a few housekeeping items.
1. All graduating students, and any students leaving Bluevale at the end of this school year, will lose access to their G Suite for Education accounts and data (including Google Drive files and email) over the summer and the accounts will be closed. It is strongly recommended that these students back up all documents and emails to their personal drives/accounts before the end of June.
Any files and other data that students wish to keep should be backed up. Google Takeout is a tool that can be used to make a copy of your data. Students should consider following this tutorial to assist with the process. This tutorial shows you how to transfer your Google Drive files and your emails directly to another Google account using Google Transfer. The tutorial also explains how to use Google Takeout to make a copy of all of your data (including Google Drive files and emails, as well as items such as Google Photos, Contacts, Calendar Events and Google Keep notes).
2. On Thursday, June 24th and Friday, June 25th from 9:30 – 3:30 each day, students in grades 9 – 12 will be able to return all borrowed Bluevale learning materials (i.e. Library books, textbooks, instruments etc.). Additionally, any graduating students or students moving to another board can return their Chromebooks on this day. If graduating students have signed up to visit the school on Monday, June 28th to pick up their Grad Sign and/or take part in the photo opportunity, they can wait until this day to return their items.
As a reminder, anyone coming to school property on these dates will need to wear a mask and complete the COVID self screening verification tool. We ask that all items be dropped off at the front of the school beside the cafeteria doors.
3. If you wish to join in the grad drive-through, please sign up prior to Fri. June 25 at 9:00 am.
4. Report Cards and Transcripts will be mailed to students the week of July 5th. Diplomas will be available in the fall.
