Congratulations to the Girls Field Hockey Team who for the second consecutive year is off to the OFSAA Field Hockey Championship.  The team will be hoping to improve on their silver medal finish from last year.  This year’s tournament will be in Peterborough beginning this Thursday.  The team earned the berth by winning a silver medal in an excellent match against Resurrection CSS, defending OFSAA Champions, at this past week’s CWOSSA Championship.  In a hard fought 2-1 losing decision the young Bluevale Knights team learned a great deal about their determination and skill level and are looking forward to a second consecutive OFSAA medal.  Good luck to the team and coaches Mrs. Macey and Mrs. Malatches this week in Peterborough.
