Tonight, Thursday, Dec. 10th, at 6pm in the library, parents and students are invited to attend an information session about the Bluevale’s Return to Vimy Ridge trip in April 2017.

Students will visit significant Canadian battlefields from WWI and WWII. Highlights include: visiting Flanders, the inspiration for John MacRae’s poem, the beaches of Normandy, and the city of Paris. The penultimate event will be participation in the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge ceremonies on April 9th 2017. Dignitaries who are expected to be in attendance will include the Canadian and British Prime Ministers, the Governor General, and the Queen.
