To finish off the 2024-25 school year, the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is partnering with KidsAbility to support children and youth in Waterloo Region.
As the school year comes to an end, there is still time to make a positive difference in our community. We hope you’ll join us in getting active and supporting this worthy cause.
Our KidsAbility end-of-year fundraising will run from Tuesday, May 20 to Friday, June 13, 2025.
Why Give to KidsAbility?
KidsAbility is a leader in delivering a wide and diverse range of pediatric rehabilitation services and a local community partner that supports many WRDSB students and their families in reaching their communication, social, physical, and behavioural milestones.
They provide a variety of programs, supports and resources to WRDSB students with communication, physical or developmental needs, including:
- Assessments
- Diagnoses and clinical treatment
- Specialized programs and therapies
- Specialized equipment and resources
Join us in celebrating and uplifting the superpowers that make us each unique. Together, we can empower all students to realize their possibilities.
How Can I Help?
Last year, we raised more than $26,000. Through the incredible fundraising efforts of Bluevale Collegiate Institute and Waterloo Collegiate Institute, we have already raised $25,685 this year.
We are inviting WRDSB elementary schools to help us grow this further. We hope to double this amount by the end of the campaign. But we can’t do it alone!

How to make a donation
- Head to the KidsAbility donation portal to begin the process
- Click “Find Your School,” and type in the school name you would like to support
- Click “Donate Now” and select the amount you would like to donate
- Finally, fill in the rest of the form to complete your donation
