On May 6th, 40 students from Bluevale Collegiate Institute and Southwood Secondary took to the waters of Lake Ontario to experience the great outdoors. Students had the opportunity to learn from professional anglers aboard fishing charters. Students were successful in hooking into some big King and Coho salmon.

A huge thanks to Get It Wet Sports Fishing, King Slayer Sports Fishing, and Krazy Kings Sport Fishing for hosting this amazing day. We also want to send thanks to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, and the Stanley Park Optimist Club for their generous support which helped make this incredible experience possible.
