Today is Information Technology Professionals Day – it’s an opportunity to recognize the critical role information technology staff play in supporting staff and students all across the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB).

First celebrated in 2015, IT Professionals Day was created to show appreciation for these dedicated professionals who keep every part of their organization connected and online.

As we prepare students to succeed academically in the classroom, and in their future careers, we need the support of IT professionals more than ever before. Whether it’s the IT pros who work directly with students and staff each day, or those at the Education Centre who help support those all across our system, each of us has a reason to say thank you to these colleagues today.
