This year we are back to our regular four formal report cards.  Each semester your student will receive a Midterm Report Card and a Final Report Card.  It is also best practice that we communicate with parents/students information about a student’s progress.  In the past we used an interim report template, however due to the modified semester model this parent communication will be in the form of an email or phone call.  This will not be a formal report, but parents should expect an email from your student’s teacher giving a level and comments as to your student’s progress to date.  Below is a chart outlined in Growing Success:  Assessment, Evaluation, and Reporting in Ontario Schools outlining the level and corresponding mark range.  Emails will go out beginning October 4th and will end by Friday October 15th.   If we do not have an email on file, a call will go home.  If you have questions please contact your student’s teacher(s).
