Remembrance Day 2020

Today is Remembrance Day, a day about commemorating and honouring all Canadians that have served and are serving to protect our country. It is about remembering the past, but also those Canadians who continue to serve today.  This year’s Remembrance Day marks the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War Two.  How and where we take the time to pause, reflect and commemorate the service and sacrifice of those who served will look different today. Please take time this morning to  pause for 2 minutes of silence at 11 a.m. Below is a link to the Last Post and Rouse that you could play while taking your moment of silence.  You can also watch the National Remembrance Day ceremony held at the National War Memorial in Ottawa on the major Canadian broadcast stations or livestream through Royal Canadian Legion.
