Waterloo Collegiate Institute’s School Council is pleased to welcome Dr. Alison Yeung for a guest presentation on Wednesday, May 13th, at 6:30 PM at the school. Parents, students, and community members are all welcome and encouraged to attend.

Dr. Yeung has conducted extensive research and speaks frequently on the impact of screens and social media on child development and mental health. Her work focuses on the growing role digital media plays in children’s daily lives and the associated challenges for wellbeing. Dr. Yeung has presented to parents and educators in the past, and as a parent herself is well versed in the challenges of raising kids in a digital world.
