At 11:30 a.m. this Friday, June 17th, Bluevale will be hosting the Grand Opening of the Bluevale Free Inclusive Training (BFIT) Park. The BFIT Park was created as a partnership with the Federal and Provincial governments as well as the City of Waterloo, the Waterloo Region District School Board, KW Community Foundation and Bluevale Collegiate. The all weather surface BFIT project, which started as an idea two years ago, is designed for use by community members of all ages and degrees of mobility and fitness. We encourage you to join us this Friday for the Grand Opening.  The event will be at the BFIT Park adjacent to the Bluevale tennis courts. For our community members, we encourage you to park in parking lot B, the BCI staff parking lot. Thanks to St. Agnes Catholic Church for allowing our staff to park in their lot on Friday. To enhance the celebration, our leadership class will be running a barbecue starting at 10:45 for a very nominal fee.  Please come to help us celebrate this wonderful community partnership.
