Big Hero 6 directed by Bluevale grad Chris Williams has been nominated for an Oscar in the best animated feature category. Williams’ work was previously nominated in 2009 as he was recognized for his co-direction of Bolt. Chris grew up in Waterloo and was a student at Bluevale Collegiate in the 1980’s. Chris was a very talented art student who worked closely under now retired Bluevale Visual Arts Department Head Hans Boon.
